While some celebrity feuds appear to be showing no sign of slowing down, Ruby Rose and Khloe Kardashian have chosen to publicly burying the hatchet.
After Chloe Grace Moretz appeared to wade into the ongoing feud between Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West by urging her fellow entertainers to leave behind celebrity feuds and “realise what’s ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world,” Khloe Kardashian responded by posting an image of a woman with part of her body exposed on the beach and wrongly claiming it was Moretz.
Rose then criticised Kardashian for sharing the photo: “Yo Khloe I thought you were rad when I met you but this is awful and this is a 19-year-old girl,” she wrote.
Kardashian later denied claims she was a “bully” for posting the picture and said she was defending her sister and brother-in-law because she has an “animal instinct to protect my family”.
Rose sought to clear up any rumours or reports of a fresh feud between herself and Kardashian following her intervention and put the matter to rest with an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old explained while she and the reality TV star may have had a difference of opinion, they did not insult each other and instead they discussed the issue “because that’s what adults do”.
“Having different views and experiences doesn’t mean that person must become your enemy,” she wrote. “Otherwise, we are going to end up so filled with anger and hate, this world will become hell one earth.”
On Monday, Rose was forced to deny she was defending her friend Swift in her feud with the Kardashian-West’s after she shared a number of tweets with anti-bullying messages. Instead, Rose clarified the tweets were in response to her new girlfriends Hayley Gusman’s mother receiving online abuse.
Representatives for Kardashian did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
