The Duke of Kent, President, attends the reopening ceremony of the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies, London SW1. The Duchess of Kent, Patron, attends the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund Annual General Meeting, the York Barbican Centre, York. Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Welsh Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
