Ricky Norwood, best known for playing Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb in Eastenders, will soon meet with the BBC after reportedly being caught smoking cannabis on video.

The eight-minute-long Skype clip also sees the 28-year-old performing a sex act while naked.

He is expected to have what will surely be a serious and awkward discussion with his bosses next week.

"We will be meeting with Ricky early next week to discuss this matter," said a spokesperson for Eastenders.

"We are unable to comment any further at this stage."

The video is thought to have been filmed by a woman that Norwood met online, according to The Sun.

The actor recently spoke of his excitement about his character’s forthcoming storylines – although these could be reined in after his alleged indiscretion.

"I'm really excited actually about what is going to be coming up for Fats and for the show," he said. "There is going to be something for everybody. It's just the beginning."
