If I weren't talking to you right now...
I'd probably just be looking at colours and thinking about little things like that. I usually spend the first hour of the day catching up with that it takes much longer than you'd think.
A common misperception of me is...
That I only do clothes for my age groups; it arises from the fact that I'm 57 years old. People bring their daughters in for their wedding dress but not for a party or evening dress.
A phrase I use far too often...
"I mean" I notice that in interviews. Also "cool". I hate it it ages me. It was fine when we were in our twenties but not in the Noughties.
The most surprising thing that happened to me was...
I'm very surprised by this interview.
I wish that people would take more notice of...
The old. Along with the necessary quest for the new, we shouldn't dismiss what is being done now.
I am not a politician but...
I'd be like a Miss World and promise to "end all poverty and hunger and to bring world peace".
I am good at...
I've generally got a good eye for design and proportion.

Delegating.
The ideal night out is...
Staying in and playing the piano.
In moments of weakness...
I eat ice cream. There's a wonderful one called dulce de leche. It's just like eating frozen fudge.
You know me as a designer but in another life I'd have been...
Something to do with music I don't know what exactly.
The best age to be is...
Now. I'm 57. But I wouldn't mind being 47. I'd have experience without the lines.
In a nutshell my philosophy is...
It would be something along the lines of "don't take things too seriously". Maybe "stay small and control it yourself".
