Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun became embroiled in an argument with Piers Morgan this morning after the provocative Good Morning Host accused David and Victoria Beckham of "exploiting" their son Cruz.

Cruz, who is reportedly being managed by Braun, joined Capital FM to sing a verse from the track he is releasing for Christmas, "If Every Day Was Christmas". All of the proceeds will go to charity.

The 11-year-old appeared on the show over FaceTime, along with his father, and told the station: “It's amazing. It's two of my favourite things - singing and Christmas - and it's amazing to put those together and the money is going to charity.”

But Morgan cast a more critical gaze over Cruz’s pop career, accusing the Beckham’s of “pimp[ing] out their son at the age of 11”.

Cruz also joined Instagram earlier this week where his new single was announced. The account, which already has 143,000 followers, is managed by Scooter Braun projects.

“They deliberately exploit their family for commercial gain,” wrote Morgan. “We are thus all entitled to comment.”

Braun began furiously defending his new charge on Twitter, throwing in a few digs of his own at Morgan.

”He is an 11-year-old who wanted to make a song to help other kids. Once again Piers shows why he is a jackass and why his (US) show was cancelled.

“Some people in this world make a living out of finding the worst in every situation. It means they have a career ... not class. Just a career.”

He also accused Morgan of hypocrisy, highlighting his own work with children on Britain's Got Talent. “No you won't support charity like an 11-year-old will,” he wrote. “But you can judge kids when you get paid on BGT?"

Morgan responded: “Talent shows are a level playing field for kids and adults to discover how good they are. Not famous parents exploiting their brand.”

A representative for David and Victoria Beckham did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
