Your support makes all the difference.Benny Amdursky, folk singer, died Tel Aviv 23 January, aged 62. Known for his country and western renditions of traditional Hebrew folk songs, he was part of a singing duo called 'Dudayim' (Hebrew for mandrake). With Yisrael Gurion, he played a key role in popularising classical Hebrew songs at a time before rock and roll became dominant.
