Your support makes all the difference.Adina Blady Szwajger, paediatrician, died Lodz Poland 19 February, aged 75. During the Second World War she fed her young patients in the Warsaw ghetto fatal doses of morphine to save them from the Nazis and the gas chambers of Treblinka. After the war she completed her medical studies and spent her life caring for children with tuberculosis. Her memoirs, I Remember Nothing More: the Warsaw children's hospital and the Jewish Resistance (1988), have never been published officially in Poland.
