Your support makes all the difference.Nicolas Cage was filmed apparently restraining Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil, who was cited for battery for allegedly grabbing a woman by the hair after she asked for an autograph from the actor at a Las Vegas hotel.
In mobile phone footage posted by celebrity entertainment website TMZ, Cage can be seen grabbing Neil around the neck while restraining him and shouting, “stop this” as a number of people stand watching.
The footage does not show the alleged incident.
Las Vegas police Officer Michael Rodriguez told the Associated Press the incident took place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday outside the Aria resort.
Mr Rodriguez said Cage was at the scene but has not been accused of a crime. Neil received a misdemeanor battery summons. He is expected to appear in court on 17 June.
Representatives for Cage and Neil did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Independent.
