So much so, that she’s picked up a rather unfortunate viewing habit since she stayed in the UK with British boyfriend Nicholas Hoult over the festive season. And it contains an awful lot of tangerine.
“You guys have your own version of Jersey Shore, which is so ridiculously amazing I can't even begin,” she said. “It’s like another world in Essex.”
And that’s not the only English quirk the she has taken a liking to. Which, funnily enough, American stars like to tell the British press when they're backed into a corner.
"I'm a big fan of all things British," she said. "I get to spend some time there now and again and I like that I can go for fish and chips wearing the most awful outfit and it's cool, you know. "
"I don't do much when I'm in the UK, though I go watch the TV. I really like the shows you have there. You guys get to say f**k and s**t a lot more than our main TV shows do," she told The Sun.
Lawrence recently hit the headlines after a video of her losing her cool when an interviewer at the SAG Awards spoiled the ending of her favourite TV show.
The actress, a self-proclaimed Homeland uber-fan, was overjoyed to meet star of the agent drama Damian Lewis, who, after a gushing introduction, she clutched in an awkward embrace.
But the cringe-factor of the entire incident was turned up a notch when Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, who introduced the pair, told her what happens to Lewis’ character in the third season finale.
