At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

When you’re a high-profile woman in the public eye, it can be difficult to control the constant flow of speculation and scrutiny over your personal life.

So, Megan Fox decided to take matters into her own hands by poking fun at the speculation over who the father of her unborn child might be.

The 29-year-old appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas this week debuting a bump. The New Girl actress filed for divorce from her husband Brian Austin Green last year, suggesting the pair, who have two sons Noah and Bodhi, are no longer together. A 'who is the father' media frenzy quickly ensued.

Sharing a photo of herself and various co-stars from films and TV shows she’s acted alongside and had on-screen relationships with: Shia La Boeuf (Transformers), Will Arnett (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Jake Johnson (New Girl), Fox simply accompanied the image with the hashtag #notthefather.

While reports are suggesting the baby is in fact Green’s, it’s not really important. As Fox demonstrates, this is something for her and the father to celebrate.
