From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Despite growing up in a reality television show with much of her life broadcast for audiences across the globe, Kylie Jenner has a knack for keeping her beliefs on a number of issues private.

Jenner has followed in her sister Kim Kardashian-West’s footsteps by gracing the front of Paper Magazine. While Kardashian-West’s nude cover was a valiant attempt at breaking the internet, Jenner’s doll-like finished cover was equally striking; manipulating her face and exaggerating her eyes and her lips.

The interview, however, was characteristically vague, with Jenner giving ambiguous answers and little insight into her personal views. But she did reveal one opinion - her belief in only having children before the age of 30, a belief that is not dampened by close family members having children after turning 30.

She told the magazine: “I don't want to start [having] a baby when I'm 30! I don't believe in after 30 - I don't know."

Jenner’s stance was unchanged when Paper pointed out that her sisters had their first children after 30. “But they all wanted to have kids before. Kim was like, ‘I better have two kids before 30.’ She always said that.”

She also revealed some interesting ambitions for the future which largely revolved around taking a step back from the reality TV/ social media domination that cements the Kardashian/Jenner family as one of the most famous and divisive in the world. Instead of wishing for eternal fame and the continued loyalty from her 55 million followers, Jenner hopes one day to swap her $2million mansion for a farm.

“I daydream about when I can get to a place in my life where I can be off the radar,” she explained. “Business-wise, I would love to have a really successful cosmetic line and then family/personal-wise, I'd like to have a really big family and a farm.”
