Kanye West has reportedly postponed tour dates after his wife Kim Kardashian-West was tied up by masked men and robbed at gunpoint.

The reality TV star and businesswoman was staying at a luxury residence in Paris for Fashion Week when at least two men broke into her apartment disguised as policemen and stole jewellery worth close to £9 million, her publicist said. A spokesperson for Kardashian-West informed The Independent she was “badly shaken up” but “physically unharmed“.

Her husband West has now reportedly put two of his tour dates for this week on hold. Live Nation have said the shows will now take place on 13 December and 22 December instead. They also said the tour would resume as planned on 7 October.

In a statement sent to US Weekly, a representative for Live Nation said: “Due to family concerns, this week’s Philadelphia and Detroit dates on the Saint Pablo tour have been rescheduled.”

West cut his set at the Meadows Festival in Queens, New York short upon hearing the news about his wife.

Kanye had just delivered the chorus of “Heartless” when he suddenly told the audience: “I’m sorry, family emergency, I have to stop the show”.

It is not clear where Kardashian West’s two children North, three, and Saint, nine months, were at the time of the incident.

A representative for West did not immediately respond to request for comment.
