Your support makes all the difference.North West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s well-travelled toddler, has been given a highly traditional baptism in Jerusalem by her otherwise boundary-pushing parents.
The ceremony took place at St. James Cathedral, a 12th century Armenian Church in the old walled city, which is decorated with blue and white tiles made by Armenian artists in the 18th century.
Dozens of fans had gathered outside the ornate building to catch a glimpse of the well-heeled family.
West, Kardashian and their 22-month-old toddler were joined by the reality star's sister Khloe Kardashian in the church.
North and her father dressed in matching white outfits, while Kardashian wore a long crinkle pleated beige and peach coloured dress.
Their trip to Israel followed a five-day trip around Armenia, where the Kardashians' ancestors are from.
Last week, the Kardashian sisters were praised for using their fame to raise awareness of the mass killings of Armenians by forces of the Ottoman Empire which started in 1915.
The sisters laid flowers in at a memorial in Yerevan, and also met the nation’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
The leader was quoted by E!Online as saying: “Their visit to their historical homeland helped bring international recognition to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and remembering the lives lost“.
While Turkey acknowledges that many Christian Armenians died in partisan fighting beginning in 1915, it denies that up to 1.5 million were killed and that it amounted to genocide.
The family are now expected to head on to Jordan after the baptism in in east Jerusalem.
