Kay Burley trolls Bill Oddie by dropping Taylor Swift lyrics throughout interview

Kay Burley demonstrated her ability for creative news reporting once again by filling an interview about Taylor Swift with some of her most famous lyrics.
The Sky News presenter interviewed Bill Oddie, a conservationist, after Swift’s production team was accused of endangering rare birds while shooting a music video in New Zealand by bringing a number of vehicles onto a beach where dotterel birds nest.
Fresh from the unforgettable #sadnessinhereyes tweet, Burley made this exchange equally memorable by scattering references to some of Swift’s most famous songs throughout the interview. Her questions to Oddie included whether the birds will be about to “Shake It Off” after Swift’s arrival.
“Seems to be some Bad Blood/ Possibly to Shake It Off /Very rare bird not even 22/ So has Everything Changed now?”
Clearly enjoying herself, she then repeated the exercise on Twitter afterwards.
Cherokee Films, the production company in question, released a statement accepting full responsibility for the incident and clearing Swift of any wrongdoing.
The company said Dotterel were harmed during filming, which they say “occurred outside of the Dotterel breeding area”.
