Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart bromance continues: X-Men star gushes about 'pussy cat' BFF Patrick Stewart

Ian McKellen, one half of the internet’s most adored bromance, affectionately described Patrick Stewart as a “pussy cat” at a press event yesterday.

“He’s irresistible”, he added.

Sir Patrick is not perfect though, as Sir McKellen added he’d be unable to imitate him: “Oh certainly not, he’s Yorkshire for goodness sake.”

He continued: “I don’t know why I give him the time of day. Yorkshire.”

Joking aside, the actor described his bowler-hatted bestie as “blunt, he tells it how it is - in that wonderful deep voice.”

Continuing, he said: “I love Patrick. I’ve just been working with him on Broadway on two plays and how could you not love Patrick?”

It’s unlikely anyone with access to a computer and the internet is unaware of the pairs’ recent activities, as their social media accounts racked up hundreds of millions of likes, share, re-tweets and affection.
