Dustin Diamond has been arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his probation.
The former Saved by The Bell star most famous for playing Screech on the teen sitcom was arrested in Ozaukee, in Wisconsin, and detained on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Ozaukee County Sheriff's office told the Independent he is still being detained for allegedly violating his probation. A statement is due to be released within the hour.
He is being held on a probation hold, which occurs when a probation agent believes an offender has not complied with the terms of their probation, according to CNN.
Diamond, 39, was sentenced to four months in prison for an altercation at a bar in Wisconsin on Christmas Day 2014. He was convicted of two misdemeanours: carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct and released in April after serving three months of his sentence.
No new charges have been filed against him. Diamond's manager declined to comment at this time.
