At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

On Friday, CNN published an audio of a 2004 interview with the Republican candidate and Howard Stern where the pair discussed the then 18 year old actress.
Among the comments about her appearance, name and relationship with her father, Stern asked: “Can you imagine the sex with this troubled teen?”
“Yeah, you’re probably right,” the real-estate mogul replied. “She’s probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed. How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they’re always the best in bed?”
Curtis, who played Lohan’s mother in the hit 2003 Disney remake of Freaky Friday, blasted the presidential candidate on Twitter.
Curtis is an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton and has shared a string of tweets denouncing Mr Trump.
In response to the recordings, Lohan’s manager told CNN: “Right now, Lindsay is choosing to focus on the positive things happening in her life and has decided to disregard the comments made about her by the Presidential nominee Donald Trump. She is focusing on helping children around the world in need and that’s where her passion is.”
The re-emergence of this interview follows the release of a previously unheard audio of him making lewd comments about women including a boast that he could use his fame to “grab [women] by the p***y”. Mr Trump has apologised for the comments but also dismissed them as “locker room talk”.
Representatives for Mr Trump, Stern and Lohan did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
