Your support makes all the difference.As Courtney Love turns 52 today, she has paid tribute to her husband Kurt Cobain who died in 1994.
Love and the Nirvana frontman were married for three years before he was found dead in his Seattle home aged 27 in August 1994, his death was ruled a suicide. The couple had a daughter Frances Bean who was one-year-old at the time and is now 23.
On Saturday, the Hole frontwoman shared a series of posts on Instagram. One of Cobain and their baby daughter was posted with an emotive quote by Shannon L Alder which said: "The beautiful ghosts of our past will haunt us and yet we still can't decide if the pain they caused us outweighs the tender moments when they touched our soul. That is the irony in love."
Love also shared another picture of herself with Cobain alongisde the caption, "making a wish".
In a third post, Love shared a post dedicated to Frances crediting her as being "her life" and calling her "the gift that keeps on giving".
