13 July: By command of The Queen, the Lord Camoys, Lord- in-Waiting, was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon, upon the arrival of The President of the Republic of Cyprus, and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.
13 July: The Duke of Edinburgh left Prestwick Airport this morning for a visit to Boston, United States of America.

13 July: The Prince Edward, Chairman of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Special Projects Group, this evening attended the 'Pride of Lions' Dinner in support of the Award at the Moat House Hotel, Northampton, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Northamptonshire (Mr John Lowther).
Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.
13 July: The Princess Royal, Patron, Victim Support, today attended the launch of the Report of the Inter-Agency Working Party on Domestic Violence at the House of Commons, Westminster, London SW1.

13 July: The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, received Colonel Charles Watt on relinquishing command of the First Battalion, and Lieutenant-Colonel Timothy Purdon on assuming the appointment.
His Royal Highness, Colonel- in-Chief, Fifth Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, subsequently received Lieutenant-Colonel David Montgomery on relinquishing command of the Regiment, and Lieutenant-Colonel Edward Torrens-Spence on assuming command of the Royal Dragoon Guards, of which The Prince of Wales will be Colonel-in-Chief.
Finally, The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, received Captain Matthew Rudd.
His Royal Highness, Founder Fellow, National Children's Home George Thomas Society, this evening gave a reception.

11 July: The Duchess of Kent, Honorary Colonel of the Yorkshire Volunteers, today visited the Yorkshire Volunteers, Imphal Barracks, Fulford Road, York, and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for North Yorkshire (Sir Marcus Worsley Bt) and later attended a Service at York Minster.
Mrs Julian Tomkins was in attendance.
13 July: The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, this evening attended a Reception of the Order of St Michael and St George in St James's Palace, London SW1.
