25 November: The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived at Cambridge Railway Station and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire (Mr James Crowden) and the Mayor of Cambridge (Councillor Alex MacEachern).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness drove to the Kings Hedges campus of Cambridge Regional College and were received by Mr Peter Hurrell (Principal) and Dr Trevor Daff (Vice-Principal).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh toured the building and afterwards Her Majesty unveiled a commemorative plaque to open the new campus.
The Queen, with the Duke of Edinburgh, subsequently honoured the Principal with her presence at Luncheon at the Newmarket Road campus.
Her Majesty this afternoon visited the Sue Ryder Home, Old Bishop's Palace, Ely, and was received by the Lady Ryder of Warsaw, the Reverend Robert Clifton (Chairman, Sue Ryder Foundation) and Mrs Jane Nicholson (Chairman, Sue Ryder Homes Executive Committee).
The Queen toured the home, escorted by Lady Ryder, and afterwards unveiled a commemorative plaque.
Her Majesty later visited Ely Cathedral and was received by the Dean (The Very Reverend Michael Higgins).
The Queen inspected the restoration work and afterwards unveiled a commemorative stone.
The Lady Farnham, Sir Kenneth Scott and Major James Patrick were in attendance.
The Duke of Edinburgh, International President, WWF - World Wide Fund for Nature, this afternoon visited the World Conservation Monitoring Centre, Cambridge.
His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Conservation Forum at Robinson College, Cambridge.
Wing Commander Christopher Moran RAF was in attendance.
By command of The Queen, Mrs Avril Fishwick (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester) was present at Manchester Airport this afternoon upon the Departure of The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mrs Karimova and bade farewell to His Excellency and Mrs Karimova on behalf of Her Majesty.
25 November: The Prince Edward, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, today attended the Charter for Business Seminar, Midland Bank, 27-32 Poultry, London EC2.
His Royal Highness this evening attended the London Society of Rugby Football Union Referees Annual Dinner at the Cafe Royal, 68 Regent Street, London W1.
Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.
25 November: The Princess Royal, Patron, International Health Exchange, this morning attended a Conference on Management of Health in Developing Countries - Implications for the United Kingdom, the Society of Chemical Industry, 14-15 Belgrave Square, London SW1.
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, later attended a meeting of the Institute of Latin American Studies, 31 Tavistock Square, London WC1.
The Princess Royal, Patron, College of Occupational Therapists, this afternoon attended a National Study Day for Occupational Therapy Support Workers on Strokes, College of Occupational Therapists, 6-8 Marshalsea Road, London SE1.
The Countess of Lichfield was in attendance.

25 November: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Colonel-in-Chief, 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, was present this evening at a Reception given by the Regiment at the Cavalry and Guards Club.

25 November: The Duke of Kent, Patron, the Tree Council, this morning attended the launch of Tree Week 1993, at the Islington Ecology Centre, Islington, London N5.

The Duchess of Kent, Deputy Colonel- in-Chief, the Royal Dragoon Guards, today received Major-General Patrick Brooking, Colonel of the Regiment.
THATCHED HOUSE LODGE
25 November: Princess Alexandra this afternoon visited Merseyside and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Merseyside (Mr Alan Waterworth).
Her Royal Highness, Vice-Patron, opened the redeveloped unit of the Young Women's Christian Association at 1 Rodney Street, Liverpool.
Princess Alexandra, Patron, subsequently visited the Fairbridge Team Centre at Canning Dock, Liverpool.
Finally, Her Royal Highness visited Liverpool Parish Church and opened the reconstructed Parish Centre.
Mrs Peter Afia was in attendance.
