10 November: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia drove to St James's Palace in a Carriage Procession, accompanied by a Captain's Escort of the Household Cavalry with Standard, and received High Commissioners of the Commonwealth Countries and Ambassadors accredited to the Court of St James's.
The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia this morning visited the Hospital for Sick Children, London WC1, and was received by the Chairman, the Board of Governors (Sir Brian Hill).
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia visited Lancaster House and were entertained to Luncheon by the Lord Chancellor on behalf of Her Majesty's Government.
The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia this afternoon visited the Royal College of Art, Kensington Gore, London SW7, and was received by the Provost (the Earl of Gowrie).
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia visited the Palace of Westminster and was received by Air Commodore Alan Curry (Yeoman Usher of the Black Rod) and afterwards attended a Reception and was received by the Lord Chancellor.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia this evening received an Address of Welcome at a Court of Common Council and afterwards were entertained at a Banquet by the Right Hon the Lord Mayor and Corporation of London at Guildhall.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.
Sir Roger de Grey (President of the Royal Academy of Arts) and Mr Piers Rodgers (Secretary) were received by The Queen.
Mr Richard Dales (British High Commissioner to the Republic of Zimbabwe) and Mrs Dales were received by Her Majesty.
Mr John Chilcot (Permanent Secretary, Northern Ireland Office) was received by The Queen.
Her Majesty this afternoon visited the North London Hospice, 47 Woodside Avenue, North Finchley, London N12, and was received by the Chairman (Dr Louis Freedman) and the Mayor of Barnet (Councillor Victor Lyons).
After touring the hospice, escorted by the Chairman, The Queen unveiled a commemorative plaque.
Mrs Robert de Pass, Mr Robin Janvrin and Lieutenant-Colonel Blair Stewart-Wilson were in attendance.
The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the International Society for Trenchless Technology, Belgrave Square, London SW1.
His Royal Highness received His All Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople and later gave a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke of Edinburgh, President, National Playing Fields Association, this afternoon presented the President's Certificates for 1993 at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness, Admiral of the Fleet, this evening attended a Dinner at the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies, Whitehall, London SW1. Brigadier Miles Hunt-Davis was in attendance.
