6 November: The Queen was represented by the Duchess of Grafton (Mistress of the Robes) at the Funeral of the Lady Rose Baring (Extra Woman of the Bedchamber) which was held in St Michael and All Angels' Church, Shalbourne, today.
The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Sir Brian McGrath.
The Prince of Wales was represented by Sir John Riddell Bt.
The Duke of York was represented by the Hon Mary Morrison.
The Princess Royal was represented by the Lady Susan Hussey.
Princess Alice was represented by Mrs Fiona Henderson.
Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy was represented by Rear-Admiral Sir John Garnier.
7 November: The Prince Edward this afternoon arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt from West Africa.
Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.
ST JAMES'S PALACE
7 November: The Prince of Wales departed from Royal Air Force Lyneham this morning for a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
The following were present and took leave of his Royal Highness:
His Excellency Mr Easa Saleh Al-Gurg (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, United Arab Emirates), Mr Jassim Al-Murabaraki (Charge d'Affaires, Embassy of the State of Kuwait), Dr Mohammed Rajah Al- Hussainy (Counsellor, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia) and Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Wiltshire (Field Marshal Sir Roland Gibbs).
Mr Stephen Lamport, Commander Robert Fraser RN and Mr Allan Percival were in attendance.
KENSINGTON PALACE
6 November: The Princess of Wales this evening attended the Wales Festival of Remembrance at St David's Hall, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for South Glamorgan (Captain Norman Lloyd-Edwards RNR).
Miss Alexandra Loyd and Captain Edward Musto RM were in attendance.
6 November: The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon was represented by Lady Abel Smith at the Funeral of the Lady Rose Baring which was held in St Michael and All Angels' Church, Shalbourne, today.
7 November: The Princess of Wales, Patron, the Benesh Institute and the Huntingdon's Disease Association, attended a Gala Evening at Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket, London SW1.
Miss Anne Beckwith-Smith and Mr Patrick Jephson were in attendance.
ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS
The Duke of Edinburgh, Senior Fellow, the Royal Academy of Engineering, attends the New Fellows' Dinner at Merchant Taylors' Hall, London EC2. The Princess of Wales visits Pield Heath House School, Uxbridge, Middlesex. The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Victims Support Schemes, attends an Annual General Meeting, Methodists Central Hall, London SW1; and as Patron, Adult Literacy and Basic Skills Unit, attends a Consultation Meeting at the Swallow Royal Hotel, Bristol. Princess Margaret opens the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and undertakes other engagements in Toronto, Canada. The Duchess of Gloucester presents the prizes for the Brighter Kensington and Chelsea Scheme's 40th anniversary at Kensington Town Hall, London W8. Prince Michael of Kent, Commodore, Royal Naval Auxiliary Service, and President of Soldiers' Sailors' and Airmen's Families Association, visits units and personnel in Guernsey.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
