29 June: The Queen held an Investiture at the Palace of Holyroodhouse this morning.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening were entertained at Dinner by The Royal Company of Archers at Archer's Hall, Edinburgh.
The Countess of Airlie, the Right Hon Sir Robert Fellowes and Lieutenant-Colonel Malcolm Ross were in attendance.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron and Trustee, today attended Receptions at the Palace of Holyroodhouse for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
By command of The Queen, Mr Simon Bowes Lyon (Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Hertfordshire) was present at Hatfield Airport, Hertfordshire, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Mozambique and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

29 June: The Princess Royal, Patron, the British Nutrition foundation, this morning attended the 1993 Annual Conference 'The Scientific Achievements of McCance and Widdowson' at the Royal College of Physicians, St Andrew's Place, Regent's Park, London NW1.
Her Royal Highness, President, Missions to Seamen, afterwards attended the Annual Service at St Michael Paternoster Royal, College Hill, London EC4, and was received by the Right Hon the Lord Mayor (Sir Francis McWilliams).
Mrs William Nunneley was in attendance.
The Princess Royal, President Elect, this afternoon left Heathrow Airport, London, for Ottawa, Canada, to attend the International Council Meeting of the Chartered Institute of Transport.

June 29: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen's Own Hussars, was present this evening at a Reception given by the Regiment at St James's Palace.

29 June: The Prince of Wales today visited Northumberland and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant (the Viscount Ridley KG).
His Royal Highness, President, The Prince's Trust, this morning met a North East Business Support Group of The Prince's Trust volunteers.
The Prince of Wales afterwards visited Kielder Forest.

Her Royal Highness, Patorn, the Trust for Sick Children in Wales, this evening attended the Gala Opening Night of the Kirov Ballet Performance of Romeo and Juliet at the London Coliseum, London WC2.

29 June: The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, Master of the Bench, this afternoon opened a Flower Festival in the Chapel at Lincoln's Inn, held in aid of the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund and legal charities.
