2 June: The Master, Wardens and Clerk to the Worshipful Company of Gardeners were received by The Queen and presented a bouquet of flowers to commemorate Her Majesty's Coronation.

The Queen, with the Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, The Prince of Wales, Princess Alexandra and the Hon Sir Angus Ogilvy, honoured Epsom Races with her presence today.

The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Households in Waiting were in attendance.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Navy Records Society, this evening attended a Reception at St James's Palace followed by a Dinner at the Athenaeum Club, Pall Mall, London SW1.

Wing Commander Christopher Moran RAF was in attendance.

2 June: The Prince Edward this evening attended 'Vivat Regina', a Coronation Day Celebration Dinner, in support of the Stars Organisation Supporting Action for People with Cerebral Palsy, the Cafe Royal, 68 Regent Street, London W1.

Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.

2 June: The Princess Royal, President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, today launched the Directory of Services for Carers, Diocesan Centre, Bangor, and was received by Lieutenant-Commander Richard Richards RN (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gwynedd).

2 June: The Princess of Wales today visited Taunton and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Somerset (Colonel Walter Luttrell).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Pre- School Playgroups Association, this morning visited the Taunton Opportunity Playgroup, Northfields, Bishops Hull.

The Princess of Wales this afternoon visited St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, Heron Drive, Bishops Hull.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Relate, later visited Taunton Deane and West Somerset Relate, 3 Upper Street.

The Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Captain Edward Musto RM were in attendance.

2 June: The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Royal Bath and West of England Show at the Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset and was met on arrival by the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Captain David Tudway-Quilter).
