10 December: The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, this morning visted HM Young Offenders Institution Polmont, Brightons, Falkirk, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for Stirling and Falkirk (Lieutenant-Colonel James Stirling of Garden).
Her Royal Highness, President, British Knitting and Clothing Export Council, this evening attended Pringle of Scotland's Gala Dinner and Fashion Show at the National Gallery of Scotland, the Mound, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the City of Edinburgh (Mr Norman Irons, the Right Hon the Lord Provost).
Mrs David Bowes-Lyon was in attendance.
ST JAMES'S PALACE
10 December: The Prince of Wales today delivered the annual lecture of the Countryside Council for Wales at the Orangery, Margam Park, Swansea, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for West Glamorgan (Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Michael Llewellyn Bt).
