17 February: Mr Roger Gleed was received by The Queen when Her Majesty decorated him with the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).
18 February: The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh left Heathrow Airport, London, this morning to visit Anguilla, the Commonwealth of Dominica, the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Belize, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Bermuda.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were received at the airport by the Earl of Airlie KT (Lord Chamberlain), Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Field Marshal the Lord Bramall KG), Mrs Jacqueline Too-Kong Fletcher (Acting High Commissioner for the Co-operative Republic of Guyana), Her Excellency Dr Ursula Barrow (High Commissioner for Belize), Mrs Marcia Roberts (Acting High Commissioner for Jamaica), His Excellency Mr Arthur Foulkes (High Commissioner for the Commonwealth of the Bahamas), Dr Brian Smith (Chairman, British Airports Authority) and Mr Michael Roberts (Managing Director, Heathrow Airport).

18 February: The Duke of York this morning opened the Probation Centre, Haywra Crescent, Harrogate, and was received by Sir Joseph Barnard (Deputy Lieutenant of North Yorkshire).
His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon unveiled a stained glass window at the Northern Police Convalescent Home, Harrogate.
