The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel, inspects Nijmegen Company, Grenadier Guards, on the occasion of their Formation Parade at Wellington Barracks, London SW1. The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, opens Huddersfield Citizens Advice Bureau Huddersfield, West Yorkshire; as Patron, National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, visits the Sikh Leisure Centre, Huddersfield; and as President of Patrons, Crime Concern, visits the Kirklees Crime Reduction Programme and the Splash Summer Activities, Fartown High School, and Huddersfield Community Heritage Farm, Huddersfield.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 2nd Battalion Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
