BUCKINGHAM PALACE
29 April: The Princess Royal, Patron, National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this morning visited Brentford and Chiswick Citizens Advice Bureau, Chiswick Town Hall, Heathfield Terrace, London W4.
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, later opened the Bedford Library, Royal Holloway University of London, Egham, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Surrey (Mr Richard Thornton).
The Princess Royal this afternoon opened the Charlotte Starmer-Smith Isolation Unit, the Royal Berkshire Hospital, London Road, Reading, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr John Henderson).
Mrs Andrew Fielden was in attendance.
KENSINGTON PALACE
29 April: The Duke of Gloucester this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport at the conclusion of His Royal Highness's visit to the United States of America.
Major Nicholas Barne was in attendance.
YORK HOUSE
29 April: The Duke of Kent, Colonel- in-Chief, the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, this afternoon attended a Freedom of the City March-Past, at the Mansion House, London EC4, followed by lunch at the Guildhall, London EC2.
Captain Alexander Tetley was in attendance.
THATCHED HOUSE LODGE
29 April: Princess Alexandra was represented by Major Sir Peter Clarke at the Requiem Mass for Group Captain Peter Vaughan-Fowler which was held this morning at the University Catholic Chaplaincy, Rose Place, St Aldate's, Oxford.
ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS
The Queen today attends the Boys' Brigade Parade in the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle. The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children Fund, attends the Wessex Walks Service, Wells Cathedral, Somerset.
The Queen's Gallery
TODAY: The Queen's Gallery opens between 10am and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm. TOMORROW: The Queen's Gallery opens between 2pm and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment today mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion the King's Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
Windsor Castle
TODAY and TOMORROW: The Precincts and State Apartments at Windsor Castle open between 10am and 6pm.
