Appearing on KIIS FM's The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Hemsworth said he had enjoyed working with Theron on the set of Snow White and The Huntsman. When asked if there had been any issues working with the Oscar-winning actress on set, he responded: “No, I've been lucky, she's been incredible. She’s got more force than anyone I've ever worked with on and off the screen, in the best way.”
“She's one of the boys and can swear like any trucker I've ever met or worse,” he went on.
“She's one of my favourites, honestly.”
Hardy and Theron had an apparently tense relationship while working on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road together that famously culminated in Hardy presenting Theron with a self portrait and a note reading: “You are an absolute nightmare, BUT you are also f***ing awesome. I'll kind of miss you. Love, Tommy.”
Last month, Theron told the Wall Street Journal the tension between the pair likely improved their performances in the film. “From what I hear, he’s not like that on every movie - I hear he’s had good experiences,” she said. “Maybe the movie is what it is because we struggled so much with each other, and those characters had to struggle so much with each other. If we were chum-chum, maybe the movie would have been 10 times worse.”
