Tributes have come pouring in for Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, who has died aged 22.
The Houston family confirmed the death in a statement from their representatives, saying she was surrounded by her family at the time and was “finally at peace in the arms of God.”
Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January and rushed to hospital. She was placed in a medically induced coma but never regained consciousness.
Since her death was announced, celebrities from the world of music, film, and television paid their respects, including Oprah Winfrey, P Diddy, Missy Elliot and Kylie Jenner.
Brown was moved to a hospice last month following the deterioration of her health, but there were conflicting reports on her well-being from members of her family.
There was also the matter of an outstanding lawsuit filed against Brown’s then-boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who was accused of causing life-threatening injuries and attempting to steal from Brown’s bank account while she lay in a coma.
