Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late pop star Whitney Houston, has been moved to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and remains in critical condition after she was found face down in a bathtub over the weekend.

CNN reported the move and that Ms Brown remains in a medically induced coma and is on a ventilator in the hospital’s intensive-care unit. Doctors have said that nothing will be known about her brain condition until the sedatives wear off.

A source close to the family told CNN that Ms Brown blinked her eyes a few times on Monday, though doctors told family not to read too much into that. She also reportedly had seizures on Monday.

“Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honour our request for privacy during this difficult time,“ Ms Brown’s family said in a statement.

Ms Brown was found in the bathtub by her husband, Nick Gordon, who performed CPR on her until rescue personnel arrived at the townhouse in Roswell, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. No further details were available.

Emory Hospital is regarded as one of the finest hospitals in the US.
