At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The "Send My Love" singer had brought the 21-year-old superfan, reportedly calling himself Wisdom, on stage, where he revealed that he had flown in to Vancouver from his home of Nigeria just to watch her.
But his experience of a lifetime was made even more memorable when he turned his head as she went to kiss him on the cheek and they locked lips, much to the audience's delight.
In a video posted on Twitter of the brief kiss, a shocked-looking Adele yelped, “Oh my god, I haven't been kissed by another man in six years. He just snogged me!”
The 28-year-old has been dating charity boss Simon Konecki since 2011 and they have a three-year-old son Angelo.
Proving she held nothing against him, she took plenty of selfies with the man afterwards and proclaimed her gratitude at him making the nearly 7,500 mile trip to see her.
The overwhelmed fan fell to his knees before Adele pulled him up for a hug.
“I can't believe you got my attention and I got you up here and you've come all the way from Nigeria to see my show, that's so silly. I love you too, thanks for coming to my show,” Adele said.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Wisdom wrote to Adele: “Thank you for such an amazing night. Your voice is as beautiful as your personality.
“I was trying so hard to keep my cool, for everyone whose seen the video I was sweating, hyperventilating and I just couldn't believe that out of over 20000 people I was the one you noticed and called up on stage with youuuu!”
He ended by writing, “Aaaaahhhhhh still freaking out!!!!!!!!!!”
Adele is currently on the North America leg of her tour promoting album 25.
