Mila was invited onto the The Ellen DeGeneres Show after a video of her sobbing over the Maroon 5’s nuptials was shared so many times that it came to the attention of the man himself.
The devastated toddler came face-to-face with Levine on the show when emerged from behind a wall with a pink rose and got down on one knee. But after saying hello and giving him a quick hug, Mila became increasingly disinterested and spent most of their conversation with her back to him clinging to her mother.
Levine told DeGeneres the video was “heartbreaking and unbelievably cute”.
“And every single person that I know - in my entire life - sent it to me," he said.
“The first two people were my wife - sorry, earmuffs,” he said. “And then my mother. They were like, ‘This is so cute!"
