Your support makes all the difference.ANDREW ROWE, the Tory MP for Faversham and Kent Mid, told the House that he suffers from prostate cancer and urged the Government to overcome the "enormous discrepancy" between the amount of money spent on breast cancer and his own illness.
Mr Rowe, 64, asked the Prime Minister to review funding so that "the next generation may be at less risk". Mr Blair said he had a "perfectly fair point", adding he hoped to increase spending on cancer in the next Comprehensive Spending Review. "We have put more money into breast cancer, that is true. We are also then going to move on to the other cancer areas, and prostate cancer is one of those areas."
