The Princess Royal attends a 425th Year Anniversary Gala Performance of the Spanish Riding School in the Winter School of the Imperial Castle followed by dinner at the Pallavicini Palais, Vienna, Austria; and, as President, Save the Children Fund, visits a primary school "Volksschule Goldschlagstrasse", Vienna, Austria.

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; F Company Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
