The show’s live feed showed Big Brother wishing the housemates goodnight as they appeared to fall asleep, and moments later, they were back with the lights on filming another take, according to The Sun. Ricky Norwood then congratulated his fellow finalists before the lights flickered back on.
“Great take guys,” Norwood said as he bounced back out of bed. "Great take."
Big Brother’s voiceover then announced further instruction to the finalists. “This is Big Brother: Housemates, just listen to Big Brother again,” the announcement said. “Big Brother will tell you that tomorrow is a really, really, big day for all of you, and it will start quite early and end quite late.
“So what Big Brother would suggest is that you all wash your teeth, get whatever washing you need done and then call it a night relatively quickly.”
Then, all the audio for the episode was abruptly cut, and fans took to social media to immediately air their grievances.
Still, representatives for Celebrity Big Brother maintain that the show is indeed authentic.
“Footage shown on the live feed involved Big Brother alerting housemates of a long final day ahead,” they said in a statement to The Sun. “The show is entirely authentic and the housemates are not scripted.”
