Tim Willcox and Sophie Long, who are both married, have allegedly told their partners their marriages are over.
They are reportedly not allowed to appear together on BBC News 24 until the situation has settled down.
When Long, 35, married two years ago, Willcox, 49, was a guest at her wedding in Cornwall.
The BBC declined to comment.
