Barack Obama on the BBC and on Channel 4 News. He is just amazing. I watched The Apprentice, obviously. I was watching it eyes open and mouth agog – so many classic telly moments. I watched a documentary on hoarders, on Five of all places. It was frightening – I think I'm a hoarder. I started frantically throwing things away.

On bbc.co.uk I read about the passing of Yves Saint Laurent – a legend and one of the greatest couturiers – and the news on Obama [winning the Democrat candidacy race]. It's a brilliant moment in history. He's such an inspiration. He's resilient and determined and just brilliant. Obama all the way! I kept up to date with the Obama campaign largely thanks to an amazing and hilarious American black gossip site called Bossip.com. Check out the "Ho Sit Down" post.
Last week I read...
I feel like I'm in a machine with Big Brother, in the most hardcore boot-camp of my life, so I really don't have much time. In this week's Heat my little face made it onto the cover, which I thought was hilarious. I read the article just to see how stupid I sounded. Then I read i-D magazine, because the love of my life, Mariah Carey, is on the cover. Obviously I savoured every word in that article – pored over it. Mimi was looking fabulous in her bikini, literally fab. Just for giggles, I read an old copy of Love It!, which is my favourite low-rent magazine. It's the best low-rent magazine in the world.

I have a DAB radio in my room, and it's on all day, every day. I listen to Annie Mac on Radio 1. She's fab. She's just brilliant. I love the Irish voice, it's soothing.
