The hashtag "wakemeupwhen" is in second place on the morning of July 9. "Wake me up when: "you're done talking," "kids stop having kids," or when "everyone else stops sleeping" say Twitter users who are either craving sleep or bored out of their minds.
The name of American basketball player "LeBron James" has leaped up the charts again overnight to number three. James announced he would join Florida-based NBA team Miami Heat on July 8.
"Miami Heat" is in ninth place, "LBJ" (an acronym for LeBron James' name) is in eighth place, and "Cavs owner" - a term related to the owner of Cleveland-based NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers - is in seventh place.
The memes "#phoneexcuses" and "#madrugadadeconfesiones" ("early morning confessions" in Spanish) are in fourth and sixth place respectively.
The police officer convicted of fatally shooting unarmed civilian Oscar Grant was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter on July 8. The verdict has pushed "Oscar Grant" into fifth place on the charts.
Car manufacturer Volkswagen takes the tenth place in Twitter's most talked about topics.
