Twitter users love keeping their followers up to date with their music playlists of the moment. They are using the hashtag "NowPlaying" to let their followers know what's playing on their stereo throughout the day.
"#AmItheonlyone" is the second most talked about topic followed by the hashtag "happybirthdayJustin." March 1 is the birthday of Canadian teen pop singer Justin Bieber.
"#Ibelieve" is fourth on the list of trending topics this morning. Microbloggers are tweeting about the things they believe in.
Some common beliefs include, "relationships aren't meant to change people or make that person better, if you truly love/like someone take them for who they are," "that everything happens for a reason" and "that getting everything you want is a bad thing."
The social networking site was also being used as a portal to share news and information about the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked Chile on February 27.
"Chile quake damage could reach $30 billion," "Google launches person finder after Chile quake," and "Chile quake death toll rises to 708, 1.5 million homeless," tweeted microbloggers keeping their followers informed of the current events taking place in the area.
