Korean pop fans are banding together to promote "Kpop" bands they love, hoping to build worldwide recognition for their homegrown stars. The corresponding term "#kpopfasunite" weighs in at number four on Twitter's list of trending topics for February 12.

Bollywood film My Name Is Khan is receiving a lot of Twitter "press" Friday. The Indian-made film was first screened in  Abu Dhabi on February 10 and is set to open in theaters in several countries on February 12.

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. In preparation for February 14, Twitter users are discussing their plans for the big day, complaining they have no "special one" or posting suggestions for romantic (or silly) gift ideas.

The February 11 death of British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has ripped through the fashion world and the Twittersphere alike, devastating those who were close to him. Fans of the "enfant terrible," whose designs both shocked and invigorated the fashion world, are posting their condolences on Twitter.

"R.I.P Alexander McQueen. thanks for the originality, sparks of genius, and whimsical dreams you've scattered along the way," wrote one Twitter user lamenting his passing.
