Your support makes all the difference.Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo has created a successful marketing campaign that is taking Twitter by storm. Their "Lucky Line" viral marketing continues to seduce microbloggers with "UNIQLO LUCKY LINE??????" retaining its position as the most talked about topic on Twitter on May 26 for the third day in a row.
In second place is the name of American Idol contestant, Lee DeWyze.
The hashtags "whotold" and "didyoureallythink" have taken out the third and fourth position on today's chart.
"Asian vampires are the most vicious of all the vampires!" say microbloggers quoting a scene from the most recent episode of the hit comedy-drama-musical TV series Glee. A surge of similar-themed tweets have resulted in "Asian Vampires" gaining the fifth position on Twitter's trending topics.
Indian Bollywood film "Kites" has sprung back onto the list in sixth place. The name of Hrithik Roshan, the Bollywood actor and star of "Kites" is also on the charts in eighth place.
"We feel terrible about spilling oil in American waters, we'll make sure the next spill happens where the terrorists live" tweets "Brandjacker" @BPGlobalPR. People on Twitter have been retweeting the user's stream of sarcastic (and occasionally inappropriate posts) about the oil spill in the USA causing "Oil Spill" to trend in seventh place.
Microbloggers are also tweeting about "Persia" in anticipation of the "Prince of Persia" film which is set for release on May 27. "Persia" is new on the charts in ninth place along with the Dutch word for English, "Engels" which is now in tenth place.
