Bieber's name is being mentioned in tweets containing the top three most talked about topics.
At the top of the list is the hashtag "Nowplaying." Twitter users are turning up the volume on their stereos and telling the world they are listening to Bieber's new album.
My World 2 is the second most talked about topic on the Twittersphere this morning. The name of Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber has jumped up six places into the third position.
The names of revered Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and Indian revolutionaries Rajguru and Sukhdev are trending at numbers four, seven and eight. The men were charged with murder and hanged to death on March 23, 1931.
"23rd March 1931 Martyr's Day in Indian History, S. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev & Rajguru, the great freedom fighters, were hanged for our Freedom" and "Lets pay our respect to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru who paved way for Independence today on March 23rd the 'Martyr's day,'" wrote Twitter users commemorating Martyr's Day on the microblogs.
Handheld gamers received some exciting news early Tuesday when Nintendo announced it would unveil a "new portable game machine" that could display 3D effects without the need for glasses at the forthcoming E3 Show on June 15, 2010 in Los Angeles.
The device has been temporarily named the Nintendo 3DS and will succeed the company's Nintendo DS series. Nintendo 3DS is trending at number ten on the Twitter charts.
