The popular children's show SMTV: Live celebrated a double success last night, winning two prizes at the British Academy Children's Film and Television Awards.

The popular children's show SMTV: Live celebrated a double success last night, winning two prizes at the British Academy Children's Film and Television Awards.

Ant McPartlin, Dec Donnelly and Cat Deeley, the ITV Saturday morning show's presenters, collected a Bafta for Best Entertainment programme at a celebrity-filled ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in London. Children from across the country also crowned the show as their favourite in the Lego/Bafta Kids' Vote category.

Katy Hill, who hosts the BBC's rival Live & Kicking show, won The Presenter's Award. Another winner was Newsround Extra - Russian Orphanages in the Factual category.
