Since it became public knowledge that a royal baby was on its way, the Duchess of Cambridge has made a handful of public appearances as she battled severe morning sickness.

Kate battled severe morning sickness at the King Edward VII hospital before making her first public appearance after the announcement.

In her middle trimester, Catherine carried out a number of public engagements, looking happy and healthy. speculation of her outfits as her bump was visible. Maternity dresses were sold out in a matter of hours after she wore.

In the six and a half months following the announcement of her pregnancy, Kate carried out 19 days of public engagements before going on maternity leave.
