Man found hanged

A businessman from Japan accused of attempting to obtain finance using forged "war debt" bonds purporting to be worth pounds 7.5bn, was found hanged while on remand in a hotel in South Kensington, west London. Akira Asamiya, 68, had been remanded on conditional bail when he appeared at City of London magistrates court.
