Your support makes all the difference.The husband of missing Sandie Bowen appeared in court yesterday charged with her murder. Forestry worker Mike Bowen, 45, was arrested and questioned for three days by detectives investigating the disappearance of Mrs Bowen. He was charged with her murder on Thursday night and remanded in custody for a week when he appeared before magistrates at Newport, Gwent. His son, Victor, 19, was also arrested but was released without charge.
Mrs Bowen, 53, a catering worker of Llandogo, Gwent, disappeared more than two weeks ago and police launched a major hunt for her. Her husband made an appeal for her to get in touch.
