The government has issued new guidance requiring the public to stay at home at all times apart for in a limited set of circumstances to stop the spread of the virus.
The Ministry of Health has been releasing daily figures on the number of people who have been tested for Covid-19 in the UK since 25 January.
Here is a breakdown of the daily tally, including the death toll, the number of people who have tested positive and negative and the total number tested.
