Your support makes all the difference.A MOTORIST was recovering in hospital last night after his car plunged 200ft over cliffs yesterday.
The driver, who is in his early 30s, was flung clear of the vehicle and left stranded on a grassy ledge about 70ft down.
An RAF helicopter crew winched him to safety from the cliffs at Braich y Pwll near Aberdaron on the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales and airlifted him to Bangor Hospital. He is being treated for a broken arm and minor injuries.
An RAF spokesman said: "We were alerted shortly after 1pm by coastguards who had reports that a car had gone off the clifftop and into the sea.
"The driver was very cold but we had expected to find him much more severely injured."
