Come Rain or Shine...

AT LEAST 10 people in South Africa have died in flooding caused by heavy rains in the eastern port city of Durban, officials said yesterday.

Emergency services evacuated families to schools and church halls after a deluge of over 200 millimetres in 24 hours washed away the flimsy huts and tin shacks of more than 1,000 people who live in shantytowns on Durban's outskirts.
